I think you have it wrong. The voice recognition to control the usual settings and nag will still be Acura's better than most system. The Apple connection, for those familiar with a iPhone 4S, is you have to tap something to invoke Siri, which is bad for keeping your eyes on the road. Cars with a handsfree button can invoke the function to initiate or answer a call. Siri integration is like this, but extended, so maybe a double-press of the button will send the right command to the iPhone or perhaps a second button will invoke siri to pay attention. Siri will not be controlling your car in any way.
