shiny wood trim? real or fake?


What do you guys think of the interior? Is too much plastic a concern? It depends on the pricing I guess.

I like how they implemented 2 separate displays for climate control and everything and another display for Audio and Visual Purposes

very smart of acura to do so.

center stack is in need of work, it doesn't suit the premium vehicle status. Looks like something i'd expect in a TSX.

Alot of similarities to the new TL and RDX. I feel like they could have made the steering wheel a bit thinner. I don't like how thick the area around the controls are.

Acura paid a ton of attenttion to detail this time around. Anyone loving the use of silver trim as much as I am? I think it makes the interior pop much more, without it, it would look dull.

Silver trim is something Acura should never get rid of, seems like they used it more throughout this interior. The speaker cover with thicker silver trim is a nice addition.

To think about it the silver trimming is Acura's signature on their interiors. I like it actually more than the wood grain.

A bunch of owners of the last generation RL told me it has real wood, not sure if they checked it to see how real it is but being Acura's flagship vehicle I hope they do make it real, would suck to have fake wood.

The last generation RL used fake wood in the lowest-end version and real wood in the upper two models. Originally, all the new RLs (2005 on) used real wood and leather; fake wood and pleather came in on the lower models in, I think, 2010.

I imagine we'll see something similar with the RLX: fake wood and pleather in the lower models and real wood and leather in the more expensive models.

Id actually like the see real leather and wood considering the pricing starts at over the top trim TL.

Manufacturers really need to label if their leather is real or not. And trim of course.
